1. Unset Wet Side Stains

Used straight from the spotting bottle, TERGIT is a safe and economical neutral penetrant that will remove virtually 100% of unset wetside stains. TERGIT also prepares spotting areas for protein or tannin spotting. Flushes clean. Mixes 4:1 with water. TERGIT is a safe high-performance Spray Spotter that makes water wetter. Just fog it on (no puddles) and watch the neutral non-ionic penetrant wipe out the toughest stains. Your charge does the rest.

 

2. Utility Spotting

Mix TERGIT and WETSPO in equal parts. Removes most wet side stains plus ball point pen ink, collar and cuff streaks, oxidized oil stains, latex paint and more. Rinses wet or dry.

 

3. Fine Fabrics Protein Spotting

Mix 1 tsp. RSR in a 12 oz spotting bottle of TERGIT. Effective, safe and oh so gentle. For use on the finest fabrics - it even removes those rough water rings on drapes.

 

4. "Brushout" Prespotting

Take a 12 oz leveling spotting bottle and add 10 oz of Laidlaw's Leveling Agent and 2 oz. of TERGIT. Ideal for prespotting water-sensitive fabrics such as silk, rayon, satin, taffeta, camels hair, vicuna, angora, cashmere, wool, etc. Especially effective on raincoats, cuffs of pants and wedding gown hems. Brush on the chemical, wait 5 minutes and throw the garment into the wheel. No need to dry before drycleaning.

 

5. Economical Protein Spotting

Just cover the bottom of a 12 oz spotting bottle with 26° Ammonia and fill with TERGIT. Seeing is believing when it comes to literally wiping out blood and perspiration rings.

 

6. Safe Tannin Spotting

Cover the bottom of a 12 oz. spotting bottle with 28% Acetic Acid and fill with TERGIT. Removes wine, liquor, beer, tea, coffee, grass, soft drinks, chocolate, fruit, dye and ink stains.

 

7. Urine Stain/Odor Removal

Add 1 tsp. salt to a 12 oz. spotting bottle of TERGIT for a most effective spotter for urine stains and odor.
