HARDNESS: Magnesium salts, calcium salts and other dissolved salts are
precipitated out and are rendered harmlessly water soluble. -PREVENTS SCALE FORMATION: By removing hardness, scale formation is completely eliminated. -INHIBITS CORROSION AND PITTING: By raising the alkalinity of the boiler water to above pH 9.5, iron corrosion ceases. -STRIPS LINE CORRODING OXYGEN & CO2: Boiler Guard, with its powerful oxygen scavengers and alkali neutralizers, removes the oxygen and carbon dioxide before it gets into the chamber, steam and condensate lines.
